The English Castle

A friend of mine, Peter Chamberlin was commissioned to build a small promo site for architectural historian John Goodall’s book, The English Castle and asked me to handle the design. It was a simple enough brief, with only a couple of page mock-ups needed. We needed a design that was uncomplicated and elegant, making the most of the photography from the book.

At the time I was brought on to the project wireframes were already produced by Peter and the client. When I joined I looked over what was done to make sure everything was in order and gave the thumbs up.

The client was good enough to provide pictures from the book to use so I didn’t have to use placeholders and the design could reflect the final site more accurately!
